Jessica Davis, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT has been practicing orthopaedic physical therapy with an emphasis in manual therapy since graduating from Duquesne University. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University in 2008, became a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopaedics in 2002, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists with Evidence in Motion in 2017.

In addition to her extensive manual therapy training and commitment to excellence in individualized patient care, she has a particular interest in dance medicine that stems from her comprehensive dance background with 18 years of pre-professional dance training.   She studied with the Oklahoma City Ballet, Midland Ballet Company, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. She is lead faculty with the Institute of Clinical Excellence where she heads the Performing Arts Division and also instructs on cervical and lumbar spine treatment. She is currently interim faculty with Slippery Rock University’s Dance Department and provides guest lecturing for Duquesne University and Chatham University.

Jessica maintains various professional memberships, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.

 


 
 

Carley Greenawalt, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC has been practicing physical therapy since graduating from Slippery Rock University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. She obtained an Orthopedic Certified Specialty in 2014 and a Manual Therapy Certification in 2015 through Evidence in Motion. She is currently working on obtaining her Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion, with an anticipated graduation of July 2018.

Dr. Greenawalt is the co-owner of Perform Physio LLC.  In addition to treating traditional orthopedic injuries, she has a particular interest in treating CrossFit athletes and Olympic weightlifters. Dr. Greenawalt has been participating and competing in CrossFit herself for 4 years. She also obtained advanced training from the Institute of Clinical Excellence and obtained a Certificate in Management of the Fitness Athlete in order to better understand the management of these athletes. Dr. Greenawalt is also an assistant coach at Crossfit TPA and is the primary in house physical therapist for this particular gym.

Currently, Dr. Greenawalt is also an interim faculty in the Slippery Rock University Physical Therapy Department teaching Education, Prevention, and Wellness, a class focused on providing individuals wellness programs for patients in addition to traditional physical therapy treatments. Her hope is also to get certified in nutrition in order to provide the best whole body treatment for each individual.

Dr. Greenawalt is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and The American Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapists.
